Right on waveguide! I was thinking the same thing.

If you want to believe what the scriptures say, thats fine. If you want to pick and choose which verses are fact, and which are metaphores based on what suits your position best, thats fine too I suppose. But, how exactly does that make the denial of life outside earth become "truth"? How does the bible refute the possability of alien life specifically?

Alone, you know I respect you man. I'm not going to challenge your beliefs because I have my own as well. I will say though, it kind of seems like you're trolling for a fight. This is the "Alien evidence compilation" thread. So far none of your posts have provided any "evidence" (one way or the other), only your belief that it's all rubbish.

On a side note, the majority of stories in the bible are just retellings of older Sumerian stories. The Sumerians said beyond the shadow of a doubt that their gods were aliens. Even the Vatican now accepts the possibilty of alien life, they've actually appointed someone to head up that line of thought.

the arizona lights incident was one of those which pushed me over the edge of doubt about aliens

i saw that i decided to read all sumerian texts i could find. i don't remember which translations they were.. gilgamesh, lilith, enki, that lot. i didn't get anything out of it that related the anu to off-worlders. maybe i had the wrong translation.

you know you keep seeing all these airport ufo sightings, like the ones in china (one of which seemed to have a discrete projection-from-ground beam despite appearing solid). oc what i'm saying is who knows..? who knows? i don't know what happened in china, all i know is what some guys in the media want me to think is going on in china. or afghanistan or libya. you can't believe the media, they're bastards. i feel the same way about academics and scientists. religious leaders go without mention
