I am on a 12/12 light cycle. Been doing that for a week now.

I don't really know what to take pictures of, but I did take two more. If this doesn't help, let me know more specifically what to take. All the nodes look about the same right now.

    Thanks guys,
    Chris

I don't see anything yet either. Should be any time now though. By the end of another week of 12/12 you'll definitely see something. I attached your first picture back with arrows pointing to where the preflowers will form. Sort of between the base of the stipule and where the new leaves are coming out. At first males and females look similar, but upon closer inspection (might need a magnifying glass) the males look like a stalk with a ball on top of it, and the females look like a ball with two hairs on top.

The fact that it's not showing anything yet is actually a good thing. Females tend to show later than males. Some nodes will grow preflowers earlier than others too, so look at them all.

    Thanks Brindie

Also, do you know off hand if theres a benifit to spray the leaves with a bottle of water every once in a while? I usually do it when I water them. I heard it helps out with stem strength and stuff? Do you know of anything? Good, bad?

P.S. Also, can you look at this pic and tell me if I need to transplant or not? How is it looking plant\pot ratio. Will I need to transplant soon:confused:
    Thanks for the help,
    Chris

Spraying and/or foliar feeding during vegging is fine, but not necessary. It's not a good idea once they start budding because it increases the chances of mold, which can ruin a crop overnight. I like to spray them down once during flowering, a day or so before harvest, so the buds are cleaner for smoking. It's a good idea to spray with the lights off because if water hits a hot bulb it can break. I've never heard that spraying increases stem strength. Good lighting and a breeze makes them stems strong.

Each plant should be in a 3-5 gallon container. Transplanting later in flowering is more stressful so I would do it now. They don't appear to be showing signs of rootboundness yet, but those pots don't look big enough to take them all the way in.

    You may need to transplant.....

Looks like your babies have been under some basic lighting like make a few 40w floros. I say this b/c there is quite a lot of space between the nodes and the plant is not very bushy/full. My point is that if this is the case your root system may not be as extensive as it could be. I've grown a couple of plants under floros for the full lifecycle in 12" pots (about 1-2 gal of soil) and I was rather surprised to see the roots had not taken up the entire pot. But, Brindie makes an excellent point of better safe than sorry.

If you have not been doing so, I would recommend you have a fan blowing on the plants to strenthen the base (to support the sweet buds she'll produce ;) ). You can always use twine, string, etc., to support them if they get top heavy as well.

Also, make sure you are changing up the nutrient ratio now that you're into the flowering stage. The N-P-K ratio for flower should be more like a 1-4-1 or 1-5-1 to provide the higher concentration of P the plant needs at this stage. Read up on this if you haven't done so and make sure to start with 1/4 the recommended dose of nutrients if you're using chemical fertilizers. This will help you avoid 'burning' the little lady. You can step up your dosage from 1/4 to 1/2 to 3/4 to the full recommended amount if she appears to be taking it well.

Good luck and keep us posted with pics if you see any thin whispy white hairs begin to show up around the stipules.

    Thanks for the help guys

What is the best way to transplant them? I just watered them today so I should wait till the soil dries a little right? To make it easier? Any pointers on how to transplant. I heard rolling them on there side loose helps the best...

    I appreciate it,
    Chris
