Art & Poetry forum

There are many growers who I am sure have great drawings, paintings, poetry, pictures that they would like to share.

My reasons for thinking this deserves its own section is because art has a lot of emotion and personal feelings involved whether it be funny, sad, romantic, etc. If all of them were in the same thread they would take away some of the meaning and effect from each other IMO (I.E. A funny picture next to a poem for someone that just passed away)


Let me know what you guys think, maybe we could open a poll thread to see what everyone on the site thinks?

I think this is a damn good idea too, I'm sure there have been moderators in this thread, there are over 50 views. How about some input?

I'm glad other people like the idea It could even be like a subforum of visual inspirations if nothing else. I'd bet money on it having at least a full page of threads within a few weeks-month though

if i were to consider posting any personally rendered art forms, i think i would actually feel cozier if i knew it was for members only
but ?perhaps an Artsy Fartsy subform might increase the property values around the decadent 'compost bin' in Tiki

Do you mean member only like the secret garden forum? or like the grow journals where just you have to be signed in to see the thread?

like i said-- ?maybe a subforum of the Tiki Lounge
which is hidden as private like grow journals and opens for a basic membership...
i think that might minimize the potential for random public theft and plagiarism by those who might take advantage of gardening artists' need for anonymity
