Im gonna need to check on this thread and thank a few or critize some others but for now am still in suspense waiting. It's always the case for me to need to wait tell late August before I start counting dedicated female plants from my batch of missfits. I give them all big containers nevertheless, in the off chance they are 100% female. It's costly, space consumeing; if done totally outdoor, very long season before showing gender.

Very few times have I actually seen a male plant with pollen saks developing just absolutly NO Sign whatsoever on 6ft plants. Lots of fun but the suspense is killing me. No little white hairs or saks on 5 month old plants. The downside to being poor is grow a boatload and settle for a few keepers. According to the law these would qualify as immature plants even though some are over six feet and look sketchy with no evident sex. Hemp plants maybe. I got chumped? We shall see shortly.

Bagseed does have it's pro's and con's, but I'm doing some bagseed from around the states right now... I try to stay away from those really bunk, way too seedy bags to get them from too. I usually wait until I have some decent bud to get bagseed from. If it's too compact most of the seeds will be cracked, mexiweed sucks.

I used to enjoy getting seeds from friends particularly when they claimed it came from good weed. I enjoyed seeing how the plants turned out. The varieties were interesting and it was fun growing wildly different strains. Good experience too. Nowadays I prefer growing out known quality genetics though- too much time and effort involved for me to be wasting my time on potentially crappy genetics.

For the bag seed sceptics out there. Everything you see here is bag seed. Whats nice is all the plants are different slightly and all the males are gone as of last night. A few others are not photogenic right now as they need watering and it's over 100 deg right now and they will droop tell I water them in the morning when the pots get a tad lighter.

Cant deny that some prior large plants ive had that were bag seed were like smoking good schwagg. Yet others were downright killer. Either way im bound to have lots of sativa bubble hash that will come from the plants that I find less than stellar. If your cashcropping it is indeed a waste of time.

Im not saying that you cant grow good plants from bagseed but nasty brown seed filled mexi weed is crap 99% of the time. Ive smoke good compressed weed that the seeds would have been good grown out. Nice plants by the way fish!
