yes i wanted to ask can high heat in a grow-room be a problem to a plant that will make it not be very potent ? Because my temps be like 90 to 100 degrees in my grow room and when i get to the end of flowering it seems too not be as potent at the end .I do everything to the tee as far as nutrients which i go no higher than 8 or 900 ppms during flowering and water temps which i keep at a low 68 to 72 degrees using a water chiller. So i don't know why my shit dont get real frosty like some of you guys plants i see on here .I know every strain i grow can't be weak every time. By the way I'm using (rdwc buckets ) growing in a upstairs room using a 600 watt but you know its alot of heat in a upstairs room anyway. So what is the ideal temps in a room that i need to shoot for or is it I'm just growing weak azz strains lately ? The strain i just grew was some herijuana which was garbage to me but some strains do well in hot conditions hell some strains come from very hot climates

    Good morning,

It could be those higher temps are preventing the plants from reaching there potential, in the forms of slowed or stunted growth thereby leaving you with an end product thats not as potent as if they'd been grown in a lesser high heat situation.
    if that makes sense.

Too high a temps will do the exact same thing as plants being in a room thats not kept warm enough during the winter. Plants stall overall growth. During the winter months higher heat temps are required to simulate mid summer early fall but, when temps soar higher during the summer the need for cooling becomes the grow rooms most needed element usually in the form of an air conditioner or a long pipeline with high CFM blower to a colder adjacent State (j/k).

If the ambient room temp is already in the high 80's before the light ignites, its time for you to consider the installation of one of those "high energy consuming pieces of household supplying comfort", also referred to as the "Air Conditioner".

Good luck and have a great day - open them windows and turn on the fan

    LiveForMusic182 You high bra?

From what ive read....high heat doesnt do much except make your buds fluffy. Do remember what cannabis plants have to go through outdoors....sometimes indoors wont be any colder than outdoors.....cannabis is a tough plant.

As for potency...i guess its possible...considering your plants are a little on the uncomfortable side. I think a good example.....its better to lay out in the sun with sun tan lotion than without nothing on at all...you will only get burned and take longer to actually get tan. Sun tan lotion = temperatures between 70-75 with lights on.

Outdoor plants have constant fresh air flow around them, that's the real difference here. High heat in a less than open setting will certainly affect your plants health, and their potency relies greatly on their health IMO. Cannabis can cope with high temps for sure, but airflow is really key to maintaining healthy growth.

Asuming that the rest of the enviorment is near perfect then ya heat has alot to do with fluffy unpotent buds usually when your enviorment is ideal it will have everything to do with strain but if its the real herijuana its a strain from humbolt mostly indica and its VERY! Potent so its not the strain most plants simply stopp growing in temps over 90 degrees thats just way to hot a cannabis plant is strong and will usually repair itself so you can argue that plants in afghanistan grow and thrive in temps of 100 degrees but they usually stop growing for a bit and not all strains are they same just because one strain survives in hot wether doesnt mean the rest will besides even if its servives you will never reach the strains peak potential if the enviorment is less than ideal just keep your temps low and your airflow efficient and you should have some frosty looking nugs

have you a external fresh air coming in? that will be needed if not.
add another fan or more powerful one and open the grow room up if you can.
and as duner said airflow son airflow.
