carbonated water, would it help?

hey i have been talkin to some of my friends and they tell me that if i use carbonated water it helps the plants out a hell of alot. does anybody have experience on this or advice? thanks

The idea there is that you can spritz your plants with seltzer water (CO2 laden) and the plants absord the CO2 in it. You can give them a good spritzing one day of Seltzer water then the next followup with a dosage plain water to help clear out any remnants from the seltzer. You do need to get a certain type of seltzer that doesn't contain any sodium ( I think!!!)
TBH, I can't remember exactly what type I used to use but i think it was the sodium I was on the look out for ... If I can remember I will look for the type of seltzer you need ....

but yes I have done this and really didn't notice a huge diff but there was slightly better growth on the plant I was treating with it ... not really enough for me to using it though

Some of my friends told me to try setting dry ice in water for a little bit before watering my plants. I can see how this would work in theory, but rather not use by herb as a lab rat. How would a mix of water carbonated by dry ice, with some fertilizer work? Thanks.

i believe plants absorb co2 through the leaves not the roots,so that probably won't do anything. someone correct me if this is not so. also i do not recommend using cold water.room temperature is best.

CO2 is absorbed through the leaves for photosynthesis, which then makes food for the plants. water and neauts are absorbed through the roots.

Gaseous exchange in plants is performed through tiny holes in the lower (usually) face of the leaf that open and close at appropriate times of the day. Carbon Dioxide is taken in for photosynthesis.
Roots absorb water and mineral ions necessary for plant growth. Marijuana likes a small amount of air to reach its roots. This can be achieved by mixing a small amount of sand, polystyrene, permiculite or whatever, to stop the soil from compacting down.
You would be much better off feeding your plants leaves with CO2 and fertilising your plants roots than the other way around. The exact same way that nature treats plants!
