Cardboard box grow box?

Ive been going back n forth...whether to use the small grow tub i have...or to just buy a grow box. I feel like i've been thinking about this way too much. What if i just got a huge cardboard box...the size of the grow space i need....get some mylar and coat the inside...and obviously it'd be easy to cut holes for wires and such.

What are the pros and cons on this? Has anyone tried this? I think one of the biggest pros in my opinion would be...its a cardboard box...its stealthy. What do you guys think!

Even with cfls? Im only growing one plant at a time no matter WHAT grow situation i end up having.

better of laying a paper towel on your stovetop and turning it on imo...

You can buy yourself a safer box for cheap The you won't have to worry so much every time you leave the house. The closet thing would be much better than cardboard box, but not all 'boxes' are cardboard.

Grab yourself 2 of those Rubbermaids. Make the "top" to have and secure your lights at the top of the Rubbermaid. You can realistically do (3) rows of (5) or even (6) CFLs at the top, know what i mean?

Mounting a surge protector on top of the box will utilize your space as well and be safe.

You can get some weatherstripping, foam or Duct Tape to secure the boxes together. Mainly youll want it light proof, obviously.

Make sure you have a good passive intake and with a setup like this you should have no problem making a 70-100CFM PC fan work.

Set them on top of eachother and create a seal with whatever it is you choose. This will give you the extra height when it comes time for flowering and also still have a steady, stable, little room for your ladies.

just get a grow tent and be done with it.

i bought 1 of these Walmart.com: Stansport Cabana Privacy Shelter: Camping

and then wrapped the inside with pandafilm.. and i use that for my seed making room. and so far .. i have 1 batch of Special k (female) x Magic Bud (male) with no contamination to my other flowering female in the other room..
