Cut the top from a plastic lemonade bottle remove the cork to give you a cheap and efficient dome.

Slide it over the top of your plants now they have they’re very own little humidifier that will help avoid evaporation through the leaves.

Again this is a personal preference but I like to keep the cuttings out of bright light for at least 12 hours to avoid stressing them too much before putting them back in with they’re big sisters. Now all you have to do is have a little patience for a week or so and you’ll soon have clones of the parent plants. Hope this helps any first timers who were wary of growing clones.
Finaly a picture of my girls.

Some more pics of the girls

Standing your pots in trays of Perlite will help excess water drain away from the root ball. The one standing on the black pot was a clone the pots there just to lift it up nearer the lights so her Big sisters don't overshadow her.

    three days on

This is the cuttings three days on. Still no sign of drooping or flagging. The white thing below it is an extractor fan, set up in reverse so it blows instead of sucking.

Nice contribution. I like your illustrated guide, excpecially the time you take to demonstrate the proper place to cut the cutting. I believe that has been my error and why I am having such problems cloning. I am cutting to close to the node, basically, the end IS the node. I have been waiting for my cuttings to root for over two weeks.

For your humidity dome, do you leave the lid on or off? Looks like the narrow opening could serve as an air exchange, but I don't know if it is big enough to loose too much moisture.

Hi TecHnoCult I leave the top off it seems to allow just the right amount of circulation to keep the clones happy, I should have thought about showing the top of the bottle when I took the pics, sorry.
Glad it helped with your cuttings though cutting too close to the node means theres a good chance of damaging it to far and the stem tries to die back to the nearest node, I,ve always found about 1/4 inch from the node to be about right. Keep on growing. Phallca.
