Did you flush coco to desired PH before planting? What is the PH of your runoff now?

Ive always steered clear of the Nutrifield stuff because it says it "pre buffered" and coco doesnt need to be buffered.. You want hydro range PH not Soil range..

lower your temps to 75-78F. the plants' environment is half the equation.

ok so i redid a galon of 1/4 str GH Floraduo, phed @ 5(best guess im using a liquid test kit) which is light orange on bottle, gavem a drink and checked runoff. Best i can tell it looks light orange with a hit of yellow which is 6.0 (hoping that is around 5.8) should this do the trick? Im guessing i should see growth in a day or 2?

For a control i slapped a bagseed in some old Premier Lightway i had left from a year back.
    critics appreciated. :)

e/ got temps now @ 81 bout all i can do there

The first thing I would do is get a digital ph meter even a $20 ebay meter and some calibration solution, I used the drops for a while and I learned the hard way that they aren't too accurate. PH in hydro is critical since no buffers are used.

81* is still abit high but I've succesfully grown at those temps but lights had to be further away. It will work as long as 81* is your highest temp.

Iv been talked into (when i get $70 up) to get a Hanna waterproof pen. My local guy said not to wast money on the cheapies.

Yea room is set to 75 and inside my box is 81 while its 97 outside. Iv grown in 90 before so i didnt think 81 is to shabby, specialy goin from 210 watts of cfl to 400 hps:) Yea gota get that pen i suppose
