Back in January I had a minor stroke that has slowed my activity from what it was.
6 plants have limped through flowering the last 8 weeks. maybe 9?
    I refiled the 10 gallon res a time or 2.....mostly 3 or 4 gallons at a time
My memory has been gone...so I'm not sure... :)

I gave them water the last 4 gallons
    6 little 1 gallon hempies....
the timer might give them 20 oz of water a day (shy of a gallon a day)

somewhere about a week ago....I decided it had been 8 weeks
    and I quit fetching water

    I guess I have to harvest now DSCN0661 (768x1024).jpg

    WAAAHH! :O

may be a good idea to switch to soil for a while, to survive any time outs if you need to focus on your health. take care of yourself :)

dang you have determination...hang in there Hash O'Kief. I went through bad health issues recently and thank gawd my greens mostly hung in there also. ....be well.

Do you find your hempy to be easy or do you think soil is easier (less work)?

They would have died in soil.
    the Hempies are more forgiving.
Especially considering the daily timer and watering

I actually have a difficult time killing a hempy

I noticed last night that one of the bulbs in that room has burnt out

ya...I think I have read some of your hempy stuff and also some other hempy growers.

..aside from all the forum research I have done...it makes sense that the hempy medium holds water better. I really like low maintenance and hempy seems one of the lowest (if not the lowest).

...I really want to switch to it when I can. I am glad you have a harvest man..thats the good part. NOTHING way sucks compared to what you have.:2cents:

I hope the lights get go'n again.

    Good morning,

Very sorry to hear you had a stroke be it minor or not and hope you get your rest - will be keeping you in my prayers.

The plants on the other hand appear to be ready for trim, a nice sit down take it easy task.

I agree if you'been in soil they would've done poorly or been completely dead by the time you mustered enough energy to tackle chores in the garden in a full swing mode after the stroke. I know when i'm not feeling upto par the grow room takes a big hit in productive growing since i'm all soil. Have walked in days late of giving liquids finding very drooped & unhappy plants within the barely ventilated tents. Prob a good thing I haven't built the intake / exhaust setup yet or they surely would've died from the lack of liquids.

Whenever i'm sick or dealing with downtime - nothing gets done. Its times like these I can see where a caregiver would be handy although, I don't trust to many peeps in my grow op to put as much into the project as I.

Well, concern for your health goes a long way as a far away friend could show concern and hope you get the rest thats needed for good healing toward better health.

Have a Greater day and be well - no mre running marathons for you young one :)

DSCN0662 (1024x802).jpg Update: Would you believe they are still standing there?

The sun rose for them last on the 31st of March.....then I pulled their power.
    I've tasted 2 buds...they're dry.
This is the death in the field method. :)

    Good morning,

First question: Hows your health? No one cares 'bout your plants more than how we care about you, the grower....!
Plants take the backseat to your Good health, is what I meant that to say - not how some may take it. No flamming on the "noone cares 'bout a plant" comment.

So ... dead sticks in the hydro do support dry buds on the sticks - hmm Kool.

Should be ready for trim & smokin sooner then thought upon. Bummer how this session played out but, you'll still have some end product. Now, go get your rest young man!!!

    Have a better day

My health? From outward appearances, you wouldn't know I had a stroke. I'm way too young for this. Early 50's
The only lasting physical problems after 10 weeks are with vision.

I was driving right after I got out of the hospital....
    mentally.....I still get lost daily
I had depression I couldn't smoke my way out of

A seritonin uptake inhibitor fixed that......
I have no short term memory.....it's all stoner moments

I can remember yesterday, last week, last year
but not what I was just thinking a moment ago

makes planning things in your head impossible
I virtually have to write down what I think, if I want me to see it

it's like the worst case of ADD
I forget where I'm driving....I have to use a navigator (garmin type)

as to the weed: Yes it rolls right off the limb
in fact, it's a little too dry
might be this weekend b4 I tear that closet down
