    Ahh freaky - you'd love this plant. It's a Dutch Passion Blue Berry and it is definitely a mutant.

    Notice the 4 bladed leaf on the left side? That's her 4th node. (I topped at the 5th one.)

    I had a clone that began to only grow single bladed leaves for the first 3-4 nodes. Then it started growing two and four then finally five. It is then that it began to grow normal. The plant also grew like a hedge before it went to odd leaves. It is one of the few that I saved and it is now flowering, for he first week I think.

    Hey there Bluecheese...:hello:

    I dont think thats a mutant plant you have there .IMO That 4 fingered leaf is perfectly normal, its what I call a transitional leaf.

    As you know, pot plants only have odd fingered leafs. So when a plant is ready to upgrade the amount of fingers per leaf, it has an even numbered transitional leaf. :2cents:

    Yeah, I never knew about even fingered leaves either till I noticed one, but then I eventually picked up on the whole "transitional leaf" thing.

    Way to be observate cheese. I've had even number fingers show up before too. I also didn't consider it a mutant, and have seen enough of them to not worry when I do see them, or notice them.
