Turning 20 today...finally not a teenager. One more year till i can have a legal drink. I am probably one of the youngest growers on the site for sure..hope to still be around in 20 years (dont we all)

iirc our first grow attempt was about the first week of living away from parents for college (lol, i was going to do that.. didn't last)

while i germed and grew many times in the following years, i didn't have any harvest to speak of for about another twenty years.. so congrats on getting that figured out. if i'd had a clue i would have grown full time.

now for the old man part.. you knew it was coming twenty years in my case was long enough to get a clue what i wanted to do, establish skills over a decade and actually get some shit done for a decade. i had to compete with people with more education and more resources. most people don't have my motivation. now my work has influenced theirs.

so what i'm going to say is don't give a fuck about whatever obstacles you see, enjoy what you're doing and keep putting your feet down. in another twenty years you'll be able to look at how far you walked one step at a time instead of how much you were intimidated by the law or competition or whatever into not doing anything. you know this.

Thanks a bunch camperon...my family knows the only thing they could give me that i wouldnt return would be money lol...clothes can wait Id rather have an air conditioner for my grow closet lol.

Have been living on my own for about a year and a half..its a real thrill...being 1000 miles away from home..living off nothing...just trying to survive.

Lol waveguide...we have all had our failed attempts. I remember being 16 at home...i had one seed from bagseed and i got it to sprout...had it sitting inside of a shoebox under an incandescent life. My dad found it one day....looks me and just gave me that look. I told him it was a pumpkin plant LOL...he didnt buy that for 2 seconds he knew exactly what it was....aghh the stupid things that come out of our mouths when we're paranoid and freaked out. My second attempt growing at home..got a seed to sprout...put it out front..then bugs ate it. Was so sad..i gave up till last year when i realized i couldnt keep spending money on weed like this..needed to smoke for free.

I think after this harvest...ill finally be where i want to be at. Ill have my pound which'll last me well over a year..i can finally have people at the house again cause i wont be paranoid about a grow. Life will be a vacation...and everything leading up to that moment is paranoia and boredom.

Its been a good birthday...had breakfast at IHOP..i smoked all my weed so now im on a scavenger hunt to find some...i am back with my parents in maryland this weekend. It feels so funny..after living on my own for a year and a half..to have to sneak around smoking weed like i did when i was 16. Its truly a thrill..i forgot how much higher you get when you are paranoid about getting caught..true story.

Thanks for all the good wishes guys....i need to update my grow journal when i get back my himalayan blue diesel is weeks from harvest...a VERY fast finisher.
