    Mendrel 'Out of Service'

    What chemical

    Say 3hounds, do you remember the name of the chemical and the company that sells it? I remember reading a little about it in some magazine. You dilute it to 100 to 1 and spray it onto the plant when you start flowering and continue spraying until the pollen sacs form. Are there any special requirements for the female? Any additional info or links are appreciated. Thanks.

    It's gibberellic acid, and is available lots of places- try Google on that one.
    I don't have a link handy to the information, but it is a very delicate measuring/mixing task- 100 ppm too much or too little and you've ruined your plants. I will try and find the time to search out the info.
    The female needs to be a pure genetic female with zero possibility of going hermie.
