How Much Do You Know?

Hey Gardeners, as I'm patiently waiting for my plants to go through their flowering phase I thought up of a little gimmick to pick your brain and help give me something to look forward to.

    So here is the deal...

I'm putting this thread together to test your knowledge of grow room set-up and operation, as well as all other specs in between such as climate and plant variety, etc in relation to yield.

Experience is the best teacher, or so they say. So what do you really know?

    Strains:

'93 Super Skunk ( Skunk#1 x Afghani) 8wks: Indica Pheno, 55 day finisher, can be taken to 65 for full amber sedative smoke, er so I'm told.

Grape Stomper aka Sour Grapes ( Purple Elephant x Chemdog x Sour Diesel) 8wks: Sativa hybrid, 55-60 day finisher. Cerebral high with even body undertones, diesel fuel soaked in welches grape juice. Medicinal.

    Flowering Space Specs:

    Room Space: 3x4x8
Light: 1000wHPS, 8" Radiant AC Hood
    Fan: 755cfm
System: Hydro, rDWC( 18gTote grow, 25g total between res and module)Chilled @ 64-65f, tons of bubbles.
    SCRoG Size: 3x3
Air-Movement: Two 9" Oscilating clip on fans. 1 Right about the canopy, one right below. One 16" Wall mount fan right beneath glass.

Temps: Day/75-79f ( The first week they went in, day temps reached 84f due to heat wave)
    Night/68-71f

    Relative Humidity: 33-36%

    Veg Space Specs:

    Room Space: 1.5 x 3
Light: NuWave HOT5, 24" Four bulb
    Fan: 140 cfm
System: Ebb and Flow table system, 8" net pots in hydroton, unchilled, res temps remained at 66-68f
Air-Movement: 9" Fan placed right at canopy level.
    Light Cycle: 24/0

    Temps: Day-Night/71-74f
    Relative Humidity: 40-45%

    Nutes:

    AN 3 Part
    Hygrozyme
    Super Thrive
    SM-90
    Silica Blast
    Cal Mg+
    Oregonism XL
    Great White

    Big Bud
    Bud Candy

Plants were vegged for an average of 3 months. The SS vegged a little less.

    There is your work sheet.

From your knowledge, what kind of yield would these specifications produce in theory?

    :D Thanks Buzz!

It's been a long haul for a single grow. I'm really hoping to pull this one off sufficiently.

It would make for a nice holiday season.

    8 ounces to 3 pounds.

I'd be on the heavy end of the scale. It depends. I bet more towards the 8 ounces side because your veg is low watt. I think that's gonna be shooting you in the foot the whole time. High watt veg is a good thing.

If you do a great job over 2 lbs should be the target. Manage your canopy well with the screens. I am pretty pissed with less than a pound per kw especially with veg time. Imo, if you're not getting a lb per light and you are vegging, there is a serious problem and profitability is pretty questionable.

yeah i meant to type two pounds. thats why i said that should be the target later in the post.

this is what I figure. If he flowers a bunch of plants, first harvest will be whatever, but in the mean time, he is vegging for a minimum of 2 months. If he say, was vegging with a big light, I don't think 2lbs wouldn't even be that difficult with plants vegged for that long. let me put it this way, you give me 2 months of real veg and I guarentee over two pounds a light lol.

    :Peace:
