yo nub lol, first of all, i would def go soil or hempy. hydro is ALOT of shit to worry about real talk lol. second, your dog is massive! lmao, BRUTUUUSSS! hahaha. i miss my xbox :'C i wanna game bro! anyways.......that closet will def work, but u gotta figure out the ventilation situation. people will help you to a certain extent, but you gotta figure out alot of stuff on your own, but thats the best way to learn ya dig! take a hit of some kush, hold it in, now let it out......and think of how to do the ventilation. did your HPS come with a cooling hood/tube type thingy? also, i dont think u need 3 gal pots lol. im barely over a gallon pot for my girl right now, its in like 4 liters of soil/perlite. vegged in a 2ish liter pot for 3.5-4 weeks and then added the other 2 liters from the bottom lol. transplanting in flower using my brain. i like it. so yea, u wont NEED 3 gal pots, but u can certainly use them if u have the space. you can grow some medicine in just a 16 oz solo cup all the way thru the grow cycle if u wanted lol. so up to you, you figure it out broski, its your grow, do it up like u want it.

Yea, I got vent areas on the 250w HPS. The 4" flange is on the top, but its all about where to put that hot air. Asking for input on that. A lot of other shit is already set up and made up in my mind. Its the intake and exhaust that needs to be stealthy/quiet that I'm scratching my head thinking about.

Hempy is probably the best way to go in such a tight space.

Put in the bean order. Still have to get the closet in order.. and get a small fan for the intake. and black 10-15 foot extension cord. and BMO nutrients. and pH meter. and flower pots or grow bags. Maybe more.. but hey, you gotta pay to play right?

I need to get a few large moving boxes and make a lightproof/somewhat air tight room inside the closet with em. Something like that.

Any blue strains or blue hybrids will grow very tall and lanky at first from seed.

Any Kush strain or kush crossed hybrids will stay short and squat with hardly any stretch during flowering. In that little

space, I would use FFOF soil with the whole line of FF nutrients. Cheap, effective, will taste waaaaaayyyy better than

hydro. My suggestion is to grow out a mother plant and grow from clone which will save you much more room and fill

in the space better, Meaning you will get a better yield from clone plus with clones you can flower them early to save

room for hieght. With seed,you cant flower them for like a month and that plant could be way to big for that space

before its even ready to flower.

So germ a couple seeds of Kush strains, find a female,grow it out till it will give you 4-6 clones, take cuttings,root

them and trasplant into the soil.Veg them for aroung 2 weeks then Flip them to 12/12 on/off. This will give you

full,short beautifull buds with a gorgeous taste that hydro could never match. KUSH STRAINS are the little closet

growers plant of choice for its taste,potency,and shortness of hieght with hefty thick buds that give out big yields for a

small space.You can grow Kush strains from seed and they will be ready to flower when they are about 12-14 inches

tall.Remember,if your light is not air cooled then you need to keep the light atleast 3 feet away from the canopy or

tops of the plant. If you use T-5's flouros then you can keep the light 8 inches away from the tops of your plants.


So take all this into consideration before making your decision on what strain to grow and what light would be best for

a small space. I have a closet I grow in thats 8 foot long. 2 feet wide. and 8 feet high. My little 150w hps light can put

off enough heat to get that closet up to 100+ degrees without keeping the closet door open with light on.If I keep the

door open when light is on the A/C in the same room will keep the closet around 78 degrees. Perfect. No venting,just

a small table fan moving the air around..Can you keep the closet door open during veg growth 24 hours a day?

The seeds I listed are already on the way.. SO I'm stuck with em! Have 6 Auto's so height for the first couple grows shouldn't be a main concern.

I have a 250w HPS and 117 CFM inline fan so its cooled, just need to set the closet up and make a lightproof room out of large moving boxes. As far as not being able to put the plants into flower for a month, I didn't know that..

I'm shooting for stealthiness. Noise/Scent/Light-leak type stealthiness, so the sliding closet door will have to be closed. Still learning which scares me, but even the "Master" growers are still somewhat learning, right?

Anybody hear about Blue Mountain Organics nutrient line? or feeding chart? or somethin.. Thats the main concern. The nutrients/soil, feeding and pH testing worries me. Im bad with shit like that.

Auto flowering plants cannot be cloned and saved for a mother plant so I hope you got more seeds than just auto's. Once you plant them thats it. you loose that strain. Also Autos can be very retarded with unstable growth. You can get many "freeks" and some that are just no good. The best way for you to have gone was to get a feminized strain( which can get very unstable genetics and hermis as well) but at least you will have a gauranteed female to keep as a mother plant to take clones from. This will allow you to flower the clones whenever you wish.Keep the genetics going.Grow the same plant, thats your favorite, out of all the seeds you germinated of the same strain. ( called pheno hunting) You can flower a clone 1 day after it roots and is transplanted into desired medium. ( I suggest FFOF soil and FF nutrients for ease of use and the fantastic results I get, and the taste of my ganja is top notch.) Or you can wait 70 years to flower your clone.This is the best thing about clones.Good luck. You may have to buy more seeds when your done growing these auto's if you dont have anyother seeds than auto's.
