Information on Breeders .. Whats the deal..

ok .. so i have been searching around and i am trying to find out which breeders are worth buying seeds from .. can anyone just give any comment on any strain from any breeder.. for example.. i have a DNA Sour Cream that's a great strain.. and each of the 5 seeds came out looking the same.. seems very stable.. only 1 hermied out of 5 fem seeds.. .. um paradise seeds.. magic bud is another one that is a great plant not sure how stable yet but out of 5 seeds 2 males and 3 females. 3 females almost like identical.. and 2 males one short bushy one tall weird.. used the short bushy to make seeds..



anyone else?? i have heard G13 Labs Faked the Pineapple Express PHOTO on Attitude seed bank and everywhere else... i have the strain.. and it looks nothing like the pic.. .. would love to hear the other Bullshit that these guys are pulling!!!!.. so i can never give them business.. and please.. i don't wanna hear about the first couple years they were breeders either.. cause shit happens.. and now there all more serious it seems ,,, but any info helps........

my impression is that the seed business is one of the most venal, cutthroat, deceitful communities i've seen..

..never mind that it has immediate appeal to underworld and anyone else interested in the mechanisms of social control.

just yesterday i was checking a breeder i got a bunch of seeds by. a few years ago, someone chimes in "i got 6 males out of 10 seeds! i want my money back!" the breeder said no and got banned. new thread for another breeder.. "i got 7 males!" - well, i don't even want to look.

people take out the competition and use smear campaigns on anyone that isn't their cosa nostra or willing to play along. seriously, there are people who put serious hours into making other breeders look bad.

so of course all i think one can do is take everything with a grain of salt. search as widely as possible, don't gamble. you can find people who seem fundamentally honest, or more interested in sharing knowledge than reputation.

this is why i like nirvana so much - everyone says you get several phenotypes in a bag of nirvana.. that's honest, and "predictable", and the prices aren't out of this world. figuring out what you want is an investment that takes time.. fortunately it's pretty enjoyable reading

Do your research if u can find good things said bout the genetics and pictures and info . should be easy choice . I never go in blindfolded on beans

Mr. Nice (the best plants I've seen)

Serious seeds (most uniform plants 100% germ)

Mandala (hardy, get whats advertised)

I will never buy from Next Generation again or DJ Short.

DJ has great genetics but they eventually auto flower so you can't keep the strain.

Yeah, I've come to conclude those blue strains are going to have the propensity to go auto and/or hermie. But you know you take the good with the bad. Nice bouquet and appearance and lovely plants to grow (when they aren't causing you misery) and a great smoke and buzz. Having said that, I generally steer clear of them. Maybe that is my loss though because as I mentioned they do have their assets. And you have to recognize DJ Short's contributions to the variety too. I 've always wondered though if even the originals weren't ruderalis crosses of some sort.
