just wanted to chime in. i recieved some seeds from a buddy that runs a collective and one of the seeds was labeled M OG.. after a ton of research and growing the seed out many times, ive concluded that this strain i have is the mercury og. it fits the description, and looks dead on like the pictures ive seen of the buds. i am over 90% sure that it is this strain.. every single picture i come across looks like my weed, and the description of fruity/earthy is exactly dead on how it smells and tastes. and the way people describe the high is how ive described it to friends before i started researching it. anyone looking for any info or pics or anything on the strain feel free to chime in ill share what i can. i will say this about the strain. it is the perfect medicine, its enough indica to alleviate pain, relax you, but enough sativa to not put you to sleep.. although going to sleep is not a problem on this strain if you smoke it right before bed. but you can smoke it and fully function throughout the day also. its literally the perfect weed to smoke all day every day. and the fruity flavor is so smooth, the earthyness is on the exhale. but the smoothness of the strain is amazing.

The names only matter for cannabis patients of the ignorant variety who have bought in to all the hype and dispensaries that are trying to cash in on the hype. Sorry, but sadly true. It has gotten ridiculous in Kalifornia. They're fucking up cannabis just like they've done with coffee beans and whatever else happens to be popular among the yuppie dipshit crowd at any given point in time out here. Names really don't mean that much anymore, at least to those in the know. What does matter is that you can provide quality meds regardless of what you're naming your strains. A collective's reputation means everything now; not the names they can come up with for their meds. You either have a good variety of high quality meds or you don't.
