Cool. Are they advertised as something to help quit smoking tobacco, or just to smoke?

I'm not 100% sure if they are or not.. they just say an herbal alternative to tobacco.. I'd imagine they are, why else would you smoke somthing that doesn't feed an addiction, or get you high.. other than to beak the habit of smoking... i'll have to read over one of the packs more carefully and i'll let you know and hey.. the smoke a joint instead of a cig method worked for me once, but i started again a few months later.. i was pounding back almost half an ounce a day though
even with the low price up here, that was still a little pricey

its funny tho, if im smoking mj, i rarely if ever smoke a cig.

although i do mix the mj with a lil tobacco.amount depending on mj´s strength and dryness

when im not smoking mj , i smoke about a pack a day, well quarter pack to 1pack.

Lots of people smoke tobacco for some other reason. I looked around online and found Ecstacy herbal cigarettes advertised as an aid to quit smoking tobacco, an "alternative" to both tobacco and and just as something to smoke with no reason suggested. I've never seen them for sale in the U.S. but it seems they can be ordered online and sent here at least to some states. They're even more expensive than tobacco cigarettes though.

I heard you can grow that stuff almost for free.

not yet.. so far i've got waay more money into my box, and ferts and such.. but soon it will be a machine...

but what you can grow for damn near free.. and legally.. tobacco. i got 200 seeds from the vancouver seed bank. $7.00.(said min 50 seeds) from what i've read they just need to started a week or so before last frost inside, be kept wet, and well fed all the way through.. they're apparently very hungry plants. min 4 months cure though. so it'll be a long time before i get to smoke some nice, organic home grown tobacco, and boycott the government and the tobacco companies while doing so. i think everyone who is going to smoke, might as well have a couple plants out in their garden. save you a lot of money, and no chemicals and shit added.

Sure you CAN spend a lot of money growing -- I've invested thousands over the years -- but you can also throw some seeds in dirt outside.
