They have been hunting us forever for sure but we still here and growing in numbers it seems, so with all their technology and spying they are still loosing ground.

Paranoia will always be alive, one of weeds side effects.lol

Thanks Nigel -- Yesterday seemed a little strange, as the rolling SOPA blackouts happened on the internet the Fed's with the DOJ came in and started raiding clubs hard. I think they knew that ASA alerts were subject to the rolling blackouts and that their email warnings would not be sent, read, answered.

@Burndt Are you suggesting that there may be something other than compassion going on at these very medical looking... fine establishments?:)

Its things / places like this that make me very pleased that I can grow my own medication... No slick yuppie sorts, No sketchy street corner thuggery hangouts -- No exploitation of skin for the sale of an herb.

Just a grower, a Bean --and a passion for the earth

Copy and paste was an option when the internet's conception first was invented back in the 50s. It should be of no worry unless:

    1. You give out your "real" name or photo at a grow site.

I mean, we all are standing up to a high security risk by simply showing diaries of our grow journals, yes? Heck, I've read recently about how some members don't like being "affiliated" with a site that sells seeds and the name, "Seed Mine." Well what about the original name, Marijuana.Com? I doubt very seriously it bothered loyal members then, nor did, "Hemp Cultivation" deter the community at the time.

    We all are anonymous! :2cents:

With that in mind, any new paranoia concerning privacy can be dealt with 100% by never posting illegal images that can be traced back to "you" via ISP surveillance teams. But then we wouldn't have a grow site, would we?

Thing is, IMO, when we're smoking the "fruits of our labor" then it stands to reason that being cautious is what goes with this territory. I can't imagine this site without the "high" quality images of the best cannabis in the entire world! I think there's nothing to fear but fear itself. :leo:

So... be smart, grow safe and, most of all,

    Happy Harvest! :smoke:

The feds physical and cyber efforts would be linked MG, sitting in one place and communicating with the computer, makes dispensaries easy pickings for them.

i wouldn't for a second doubt that "they" can match forum activity with an individual. getting nabbed for it is a matter of motive (theirs not ours). but anonymity on the internet in general? who do you think you are kidding???.....

then again, y'gotta remember, you're talking to a citizen who has already been microchipped without consent.

i'm not posting this as a conspiracy theorist, i'm posting it as someone whose life was taken over by covert harassment seven years ago. i've spent a year living in a fucking tent, i've travelled to the other side of the planet to find the same kind of creeps with the same information performing the same harassment. i *know* firsthand that most people don't have the slightest clue of how deeply this society is assfucked.

paranoid? sorry, no language outside of raw experience is capable of communicating what it is like to undergo this kind of harassment. i don't know richard but you can find bonnie kellerby's scan vid on youtube (recorded same day) and i speak with her regularly.

I think that nothing in this life is fullproof or perfect. Many bad things happen to good people while the slime of the Earth laughs and clicks their cloven hooves together about it. My thought is we are doing something illegal (at least where I reside) and should keep in the back of our minds the possibility of getting caught for it. There is no one to blame but the one who stands before the mirror.

I like to think we're annonymous because by definition we are. This doesn't mean our every movement may not be monitored by "them." I just am doubtful because if I thought about getting busted all the time I'd have given up on growing and all that ensues from it a long time ago. To me, I constantly weigh the pleasure from a great hobby against the stress from said hobby.

So far, I'd rather go to jail or die for something I believe in than walk this Earth on eggshells like a light-footed zombie with a killer rabbit on my tail.

Regardless, everyone should have the right to do whatever they please as long as it doesn't harm or affect another person in a negative way. At least in 1776 EVERYONE felt that way. Now? I think I need not ask because the answer is overwhelmingly obvious.

Anyway, thanks for reading and take good care, everyone.

P.S. waveguide, I once spent 10 months living in my '74 Malibu Classic. Showering in public bathroom sinks and blow drying my hair in the hand dryer. lol Good times.
