    Hi Brindie

Well that's really interesting. I don't plan on using it until my next grow in a few weeks. I figured for the price, I'd give it a try.

I'm going to mix some into the soil mix itself. I wonder if starting earlier will make any difference.

I asked about a shelf life before I ordered any, and they told me 2 years. So you would think the stuff you got was good (If I didn't mention it, I bought mine at the same place)

I ordered enough to mix a small amount into the soil, and to water in, later on if I thought it would help more.

Post back when you finally weigh in. When I start with mine, I'll post it back to this thread. I'm going to cover this in my next journal as well. I have some clones going in with the seed to play with.

    Thanks :Peace:

    Some of us Brits . . .

Use some Hydrotops products. Bactivator is used throughout & provides protection against mites etc. It is a multi biotic innoculant. fungi & bacteria, in a powder & nutrient soup delivery pack.. Good to rescue root probs with this too. You might not notice any benefit from it, except you don't have bug problems any more.

They also make a prod called Triple F, used a week into flowering, similar delivery, which aids & multiplies P&K uptake. Early trich development & improved bud weight. It works.

Canna also sell a trichoderma product, single organism root innoculation.

Here's pics of two out of the three...

PS [edit.].I use these in Hydro.

I forgot I was going to update my results here.

When I originally potted my clones, I watered them with the Mychorrizae mixed directly in the water. With my 1st transplant, I saw great results from the Mychor.

This time I mixed the Mychor. directly into the soil, and potted from the styro cups into small 20oz pots. I've re-potted from those into 1 gallon pots now. I did "not" see any further results from the Mychor using it directly in the soil.

I would have thought that it would have worked better applying it directly to the soil that the roots would occupy, but such is not the case (for me).

I've inoculated again using the water mix method. If it colonizes again, that will tell me not to bury it. If nothing happens at all. That will tell me that applying it when roots are first being formed is key.

I'll add back info as I re-pot for flower. :D

When you're trying to plan an all organic grow and realize that roots are a very important area that could be developed .....

....references like these are researched deeply and shown.
    ....qualified gardeners assist.
.....reasonable prices can be had and paid

    This deserves a bump....
Is anyone else studying these fungi besides me ?? ;)

    Hi Prof...

HydroSan is doing a comparison of with/without HydroTops FFF... which is just bacterial I believe (adds to myco's & bacteria in HT Bactivator). It improves P&K uptakes, water uptake, which should lead to improved final flowers...I think the HT bio products are good value, when compared to AN's prices for Tarantula etc... I'm keen to see his result anyway. :2cents:

I use the premierhort's pro-mix hp with the mycrorise inside.

I however have never had good luck in getting the best roots I can. I, atm, have not seen any benefit to growing. but i would also like to add that I know that this stuff should be good. like penquin said...."good bugs are good" darn, am i bad! i can't even find where I saw that.

The good michro's are only as good as the food supplied to them. Fulvic acid is the main food source for the friendly michro's. It will provide them the needed life force to boost the marijane plants.

    Keep it green.

It's too bad this thread died!! Looks like you people were all pumped up too. What happened to all you Testers? What, no results?

    Another dead thread!

I don't know which group I hate more here, @ this BB; the self-discribed, seld-appointed Scientists or the Spacey Pot Smokers, both groups piss me off regularly! :boohoo:

Glad you revived it Don. Must have missed it first time around, trying to locate some of this locally and try it out when i transplant, then from the start on my next grow and see results or lack of for myself.
