    when i trim, i usually trim up anywhere from 7-14 oz at a time, every month. For like 3 days after the trim, everything smells like a pot factory. my clothes, wallet, everything. I usually cant go anywhere for a few days after i trim. i have to wash everything to get the smell out.

    Ha thats funny most ive ever trimmed is 2 ounces at a time...next time i will use latex gloves i used my bare hands but the thing is i only handled by the stem so it didnt truly get that bad. 14 oz though..good god. I think about the first 3 colas I start to trim I nitpick with it like 100%..leaving only resinous leaves..but after that i get lazy and find ways to move faster. Harvesting is a tough task i must say..even for small amounts....it takes massive concentration plus the scissors get sticky as hell after awhile!

    i have several scissors, just for trimming. i am constantly cleaning them off as i trim. i have a solo cup about 1/3 full of just scissor trim. i just keep "wiping" the blades off every so often, and put the scissor trim in the cup. also, some people keep a cup of iso alcohol nearby to dip the scissors in when needed. i dont do that, but thats just an idea, to keep your scissors going. i usually stand on a fatigue mat for hours trimming at a table, i need a stool or something but i cant really trim in a chair, because i need to move around some. i usually break up the trim into "grades", buds, trim, fluff, trash. i keep the trim, fluff, for later use, like bubblehash, or BHO.
