    this only works if you have a yard and (hopefully) a garden

    get dry and brown(carbon) and mix it with green and wet(nitrogen)

    make a pile about 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide alternating c and N layers 30:1

    piss on it

    turn it every few days till done.

    solarize.

    you just made a 20$ bag of compost*

    *disclaimer* every batch of compost will be different and is only as good as what you put in it. Also, it is only 1 ingredient to a potting mix.

    not so poor mans potting mix

    get some acid mix
    mix 1:1 with yer solarized compost

    mix that 4:1 pearlite or corn cob(crushed like for animal bedding)

    test it

    amend it

    use it
