    So I am wondering what happens if you take a dwc bucket, pop airs stones on the bottom, then fill the bucket with expanded clay pellets, fill the bucket to a bit under the rim with water, and then just pop your clone in that. Figured someone has done it before. I imagine oxygen would be an issue unless you had large air stones. Might not be an ideal use of pellets, but just kinda wondering if it would work ok.

    I certainly am not the one to answer your hypothetical theory. But I will say that I can't find a reason as to why your idea wouldn't work.

    I think you're on to something and I'm sure a more experienced grower will aide in your query.
