    I was just wondering if it is possible to grow with xenon lights, i ask this because they are HID's and they do put out a lot of light and are affordable 300 for a pair.

    does growing with car headlights sound plausible?!

    my initial guess, no.
    yes there are hid lights out there that aren't hps, mv, mh but they don't work. a halogen light is simply a high pressure incandescent, and they don't work. besides, if you have $300 to spend on lights why not get a regular hid setup? a 400 watt hps can run you around $150-200, then you have money to spend on the rest of your setup.

    i have read that xenon lights are sometimes used to simulate sun light tho
